Tanzania Standard Gauge Railway set to begin operations at the end of April - Tanzania Railways Corporation has announced that the Dar s Salaam-Morogoro Standard Gauge Railway Phase 1 will begin operations at the end of this month. According to Director-General Masanja Kadogosa, the project is nearly complete, with the Morogoro-Dodoma stretch reaching 82.2 percent completion, though the deadline is set for December 2022.
